I try to do something different in every new portrait. Whether it be trying a new paper, new pens, new technique or a new colour scheme, I think it's important to try something new every time in order to progress and develop my skills.
The 'something different' in this piece is quite simply the predominant use of a colour that never really emerges from my pens.....bright pink. I use a pink biro a lot but I never press hard enough for it to reveal it's maximum brightness as it were. And it is BRIGHT. I looked at it and thought "Who could I draw that would suit such a vibrant colour scheme?". The first person that came to mind was this fabulously fun and flamboyant fella.
I think he's a perfect fit for this colour scheme, don't you?

Upon receipt please handle your portrait with care by the very edges, and do not touch or brush anything against the surface of the paper. It should be kept in a cool, dry environment, out of direct sunlight. I would recommend framing at the earliest opportunity, leaving it in the sleeve until then.
Where work is on standard sized paper (A4/A3), it should be easy to frame with an off-the-shelf frame, readily available from shops with/without pre-cut mount. However, for optimal results and longevity I would advise going to a professional framer.
